About-Department

The Department of Computer Science was established in 1998 as an optional paper in B.Sc. as a Non-aided course with combination of other like physics, Electronics, Chemistry & Maths.
A Three Years UG program B.Sc. (Computer Science) was Introduced in 2002-03. As per the directives of University & Maharashtra Government the department started a six months Compulsory Computer Course (CCC) in 2008.
The course is designed to aim at imparting a basic level appreciation programmer to graduate students in computer. After completing the course the students are able to operate the computer & perform the basic task. The department also runs a job oriented course Computer Hardware Maintenance & Networking (CCHMN) which is of six months.
